[www.inewsguyan.com] – Fifty – one – year old Baspattie of No.2 Village, East Canjie, Berbice was pronounced dead on arrival at the New Amsterdam Hospital on Sunday night (September 06) following an accident.
According to a police report, at about 21:30 hrs, the woman was struck down by a motor car as she was crossing the Canje Public Road. The driver of the vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
