Berbice man charged with obtaining fake Passport

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – eight – year – old Stanley Bisnauth of Corentyne, East Berbice was today charged with the offences of conspiracy to commit a felony and uttering a false document.

He pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Judy Latchman and was placed on $160,000 bail.

The case was adjourned to September 29 before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.

It is alleged that between September 23, 2012 and September 23, 2014 at Georgetown, he conspired with person or persons unknown to obtain a false Machine Readable Passport, purporting to show that it was issued from the Central Immigration and Passport Office.

The other charge alleged that on September 23, 2014 at Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timheri, East Bank Demerara he uttered to Constable Timothy Williams the said Passport.
