Beckham in Guyana for Hugh Ross Classic

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Jeff ‘ Classic’ Beckham has touched down in Guyana for the 4th edition of the Hugh Ross Classic billed for this weekend.

The Body Builder, who arrived in Guyana on Monday morning (March 24) at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport paid a courtesy call on the students of Chase Academy.

During the visit, the American expressed his delight at being in Guyana for the first time and promised a packed night of entertainment come the March 29.

“This is the first time I’m in Guyana and I’m excited” said the 32 – year – old.

“Me and Jeff go back since competition days and we’ve grown to become friends” the 2010 Mr. Universe added.

Ross, who is also the 2012 world Champion encouraged the children of the institution to continue learning as it is their only goal at this time, and also told them that education is the key to opening doors.

Beckham, whose nickname is classic weighs 280 pounds and is an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness pro athlete will spend the next week in Guyana.

The Hugh Ross Classic 2014 is set for the National Culture Centre from 20:00hrs.
