[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Teacher attached to the Bartica Secondary School was found dead in the school dormitory on Thursday morning.
Reports reaching iNews indicate that Romel Benjamin lived in apartment at the school dormitory and was found hanging by a fellow teacher.
Police were summoned to the scene and cordoned off the dorms to conduct investigations. However the officials have not ruled on whether the incident is a suicide or not.
The Guyana Police Force nor Ministry of Education has made no official statement on the suicide.
