A Bartica hire car driver has lost the legal right to drive for one year after he was found guilty of driving whilst being under the influence of alcohol (DUI). Thirty-four-year-old Kazee Henry, of Three Miles, Bartica was on Wednesday found guilty of the two DUI counts.

Kazee Henry will be unable to ply his trade for at least 12 months

After the court found him guilty of the offence, presiding Magistrate Christel Lambert ruled that Henry  be suspended from driving for a period of twelve months.

He was also fined $7,500 for the said offence.
