A media release from the Party alleges that monies budgeted for the holding of the RDC statutory meeting at Mabaruma from December 9 -11 was used to transport Toshaos, Community Support Officers (CSOs) and PPP activists to a PPP sponsored event in the Moruca Sub Region and as a result the RDC meeting was cancelled.

According to the APNU, the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) meets bi-monthly and its last statutory meeting at Moruca, was held from October 7 -9 2014.

The Party also alleged that the Agricultural Extension Officer at Santa Rosa is currently involved in ‘house to house’ visits [verifying persons on the Official List of Electors –OLE] for the PPP during working hours.

The Party says it has since made a formal complaint to the Guyana Elections Commission regarding the PPP/C administration’s blatant misuse of state resources during its current elections campaign.
