Albouystown youth allegedly caught with Toy Gun, granted bail



IMG-20140902-WA0005[] – Nineteen – year – old Omar Williams of Lot 177 Albouystown, Georgetown, who was allegedly found with a toy gun in his possession was placed on $30,000 bail by Magistrate Judy Latchman.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that on Saturday, August 30 at Longden Street, Georgetown, he was waiting for an opportunity to commit a felony when he was found in possession of the item.

Police Prosecutor, Michael Grant did not oppose bail. The defendant was represented by Attorney – at – Law, Mark Conway. He requested that his client be placed on his own recognizance.

The matter will call again on September 10 before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
