[www.inewsguyana.com] – The search for Trans Guyana Airways Cessna Caravan, 8R-HGS, continues today (January 19) the dense, forested area in the vicinity of Olive Creek, mid Mazaruni.
Search and Rescue Units were deployed this morning to Olive Creek.
One Cessna Caravan from Trans Guyana Airways and an Air Services Cessna 206 along with personnel from Trans Guyana, Air Services, Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the Guyana Defence Force (GDF).
The air search will continue within the area of interest but will be narrowed and intensified within a high probability area using the GDF and ASL helicopters.
The Trans Guyana Cessna Caravan aircraft went missing along with its Canadian born Pilot, Blake Slater and the Cargo Loader on Saturday morning (January 18).
