INews understands that the $50M will support the disbursement of grants range between $500,000 and $3.5M and that the sums of monies will assist in works such as the resurfacing of park grounds and the construction of walkways which lead to the recreational facilities.

The grants also cover the upgrading of several Youth Choice buildings in Regions Three and Four such as the rehabilitation of the building  at Pheonix Park in Region Three ($1M),  repairs to the steps to a building in West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, ($500,000)  and enclosing the bottom flat of a building located in Durban backlands ($500,000).
