[www.inewsguyana.com] – Mark Blackman of Lot 292 B Field Sophia, Greater Georgetown was fined $3,000 together with 30 hours of community services at Brickdam Police station, after he pleaded guilty to the possession of narcotics.
Blackman was arraigned before Magistrate Faith McGusty. The particulars of the case state that on Tuesday, December 24 at Water Street, Georgetown he had two grammes of marijuana in his possession.
He was represented by Attorney – at – Law Paul Fung- A – Fat who informed the Magistrate that his client is an asthma patient and that he used the marijuana as medication.
