3 Venezuelans deported for entering Guyana illegally

Three Venezuelan nationals who were arrested on July 30, 2017 at Charity village on the Essequibo coast in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) were fined and deported back to their country after they pleaded guilty of entering Guyana illegally.
The trio made their first appearance before magistrate Ester Sam at the Charity Magistrate’s court today. They were nabbed during a road-block joint service operations conducted by Police ranks from ‘G’ division. Twenty-seven-year-old Greimar Jose Nedina and 29-year-old Yeisy Soriannys Laguna with 26-year-old Norelki Anderina Cardoza of Venezuela pleaded guilty to entering Guyana illegally .
They were fined 30,000 each and was deported back to their homeland, Venezuela which is currently reeling from an economic crisis.
