Police are investigating a Robbery Under Arms committed on three Japanese nationals and taxi driver Abdool Rahim of Canal No. 2, West Bank Demerara (WBD). The incident occurred about 13:10h. on August 09, 2016, at Ogle Seawall, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
The victims who are on holiday in Guyana, went sightseeing when they were pounced upon by three males armed with handguns, who relieved them of two cameras valued $560,000, one laptop valued $300,000, $820,000 cash, four cellular phones valued $300,000 and twenty three video tapes valued $106,000.
The men escaped in a motor car without any registration number plate.
Police yesterday arrested a female with one of the stolen articles. She is assisting with the investigation.
