A former member of the X Factor Dance Troupe was on Monday morning killed, while another person was injured following a vehicular accident in the vicinity of Houston, Greater Georgetown.
Dead is 21-year-old Paulette Josiah of Lot 127 CC Eccles, East Bank Demerara. The name of the injured person was not immediately available. He is reportedly a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
According to reports, Josiah was the pillion rider on a CG motorcycle when it was reportedly struck from behind by another vehicle.
The young woman sustained injuries and was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where she died while receiving medical treatment.
