Two unvaccinated men who were infected with the novel coronavirus have died, taking the death toll to 1,156.
The latest fatalities are aged 66 and 81, both from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica).
Meanwhile, the country has recorded 408 new cases of the virus, taking the total positives recorded to date to 58,604.
There are 17 persons in the ICU, 173 in institutional isolation, 11,818 in home isolation, and 11 in institutional quarantine.
Recoveries stand at 45,440.
