Several persons are now homeless after a fire of unknown origin destroyed two houses at Rosignol, Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice).
In addition to the houses, a vehicle was also destroyed.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The Guyana Fire Service has launched an investigation.
