He appeared before Magistrate Geeta Chandan-Edmond and pleaded guilty to the offence, particulars of which stated that on Monday, June 23 at their home, he and his wife Ramona Urling were arguing, when he slapped her.
Before passing her sentence, the Magistrate took into consideration both the aggravating and mitigating factors, which included the prevalence, seriousness and nature of the offence and the fact that he pleaded guilty.
