12 months jail for man who robbed Club Monaco patrons

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Osman Brumell was today sentenced to 12 months in jail By Magistrate Fabayo Azore after he was found guilty of robbery underarms.

The particulars of the case stated that on September 04 at Cross Street Werk-en-Rust Georgetown, he in the company of others attacked and robbed Ray Simons of a quantity of gold jewelry.

According to the prosecution’s case, on April 02; the complainant and a male cousin who hails from Mahaica visited club Monaco on Sheriff Street and at the time, they were both wearing gold jewelry.

According to the Prosecutor, hours later the two cousins left the club and observed two male following them and as a result they took off their jewelry and placed it in their pants pocket.
