[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police were last night called to a Corentyne, Region Six home where a woman was found dead.
In a release, the police said investigators are inquiring into the circumstances which led to the woman’s death. She was identified as Maharani Udaraj called ‘Sherry’, 28 years, of Grant 1780, Crabwood Creek, Corentyne.
Udaraj’s body was found in her home at about 19:20 hours last night (Thursday December 18), with a wound to her throat.
iNews was informed that the woman is believed to have been murdered by her husband who has gone into hiding.
