The ‘saw man’ who was killed due to a fallen tree, died as a result of multiple injuries. This was confirmed by Government pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh on Thursday. The autopsy was done at the Suddie mortuary.
Kevin Fredricks, 23, of Wakapoa, Lower Pomeroon, tragically lost his life on August 15, around 11:15 hours at Glenhorse Pomeroon. At the time of his death he was cutting trees when one of them reportedly fell and hit him.
He received injuries to his shoulders, arms and lower body. The injured Fredricks was discovered by his uncle Marlon France who immediately rushed him to the Charity Oscar Joseph hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
The deceased left his village one week ago to go and work as a ‘saw man’ with an established business entity.
