[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 30 – year – old vendor was granted $75,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore on Friday, January 30 charged with simple larceny.

Dalian Bagot of Kuru Kururu River, Soesdyke/Linden pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that between January 5 and January 6 at Duncan Street, Campbellville he stole a computer box from motor vehicle BNN 529 valued $220,000. The equipment belonged to Natasha Barnwell.

Bagot was represented by Attorney-at-Law Kimberly Yearwood who requested reasonable bail. She said that Bagot is married and is a self-employed man who “buys and sells goods”. The lawyer said her client has no knowledge of the alleged theft.

Police Prosecutor Michael Grant did not present facts in Court and had no objections to bail. The case will be called before the Chief Magistrate on February 05.
