[www.inewsguyana.com] – The usually quiet community of Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo was thrown in a state of shock this morning, when three persons were found dead;hacked to death allegedly by a jealous man who is on the run.

Dead are: Bibi Zalima Khan, 55 years; her grand – daughter Ashley Boodhoo, 9 years; and upholsterer Floyd Drakes, 30 years, all of Tuschen New Housing Scheme.

In a critical condition is Geeta Boodhoo, 30 years, who managed to escape to a neighbour’s house when her reputed husband, Joshua Franklin broke into her Phase Two, Tuschen wooden house and proceeded to chop her mother [Bibi], his stepdaughter [Ashley] and Drakes, whom she allegedly shared an intimate relationship with.

The incident reportedly occurred at 12:30 hrs this morning (Thursday, December 18); however, residents told iNews that Drakes’ body was found several hours after the incident behind a toilet in the yard.

Boodhoo is a mother of six and iNews understands that her other children, who were in the house at the time managed to escape and were found by a Police Patrol, walking in the community.

Residents told iNews that the two [Franklin and Boodhoo] shared an abusive relationship and Franklin was recently released from police custody. Franklin, an employee of GuySuCo, was instructed to stay away from Boodhoo and the family.

However, he clearly found this hard to do, when news reached him that his reputed wife moved on with someone else. Residents recalled hearing screams coming from the house, but did not take it seriously since they are accustomed to the couple fighting constantly.

When iNews arrived at the scene, the bodies were already removed and police had left the scene without cordoning off the area.

    man lady must consider too nah mek plenty pickney when them start see dem men ah idle, drink and fight and plus nowadays chat plenty pun phone.

    Man must stop drink, wuk and enjoy life with yah family.

    If you seperate or divorce then sell out all things and bust yuh money and go seperate direction let the court do the things and matter close wait up let lil time pass and then move on.

    Boi them media house n tv house need more talk show and program to help married people understand married life… we must consider too marriage without blessing ah serious problems so we must start the right process rather than getaway and tek home and live home.

    And if yuh got to move on with life nah rush wait fuh a time to past, chill out then you can get back serious

    We need tv program to help them young ppl…nuff gyal does starve themselves and go bed crying everynight becuz them lil boyfrien nah call them, he cuss them and all saat ah problems…so them need help

    Many young people nah look character nor behaviours…them seh man he popular and man he like me and she like me suh them try ah thing but nah boi this Western life gonna distroy us this pop culture goona tear us apart…we must control we self and think.

    lastly men should easeup drinking and beating woman and go home and enjoy life… n woman should spend more time doing constructive things and come off the gossip and whatsapp and facebook n thing…learn a skill or trade and show you partner.
