The search is on for a teen belonging to the Sophia, Georgetown community who reportedly raped a six-year-old girl, sometime over the weekend.
According to a source, the mother of the child came into the home and found the teen having intercourse with her six-year-old daughter.
However, before she could speak to the young boy, he fled the scene and has been on the run since.
Members of the community and other friends and relatives are assisting in the search to apprehend the teen.
Investigations also revealed that the teen may have been sexually assaulting the child on other occasions since on the day that she was found, there was no signs of bleeding. (R. Luthi)
