President David Granger has extended heartfelt sympathy to Mr. Kenwyn Carmichael and the other relatives of the late Mr. Fitz Uriel Alexander Carmichael, who passed away yesterday (Friday).Mr. Fitz Carmichael was an educator and first Regional Minister of Barima-Waini (Region One). He later served as Minister of Forestry.
The People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) also said it is deeply saddened at the passing of Mr. Carmichael.
“Fitz Carmichael was a life-long member of the PNCR. He was a respected educator and first Regional Minister of the Barima-Waini Region (Region No. 1). He later served as Minster of Forestry during the PNC administration,” the party said in a statement.
“May his soul rest in Peace and rise in Eternal Glory!” the statement added.
