Police hunting ‘known characters’ for Rohee robbery

Police are searching for two Georgetown men whose fingerprints were found in the home of Former Home Affairs Minister, Clement Rohee after a daring robbery.
rohee-houseFollowing the robbery on Wednesday, Police dusted the house for fingerprints and the two men who are known to law enforcement for crimes of the similar nature are being sought.
According to Deputy Commander of ‘A’ Division, Calvin Brutus after the fingerprints of the two men were found in the police database, detectives went to the houses where the men last stayed but came up empty handed.
Three gunmen on Wednesday last, at about 11:00hrs, executed the daring robbery on Rohee’s Lot 6-7 Ixora Avenue, Eccles, East Bank Demerara home. The three bandits, armed with guns and a knife, assaulted two maids and carted off an undisclosed amount of cash and jewellery.
