[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Milo under-20 school football championship will kick off on Saturday, January 31 at the Ministry of Education ground with four games.

The Petra Organisation responsible for organising the tournament along with representative of Milo presented the various representatives of the participating schools with balls in an effort to ensure everyone is able to adequately prepare for their games.

The organizers highlighted that they hope the gesture would go a far way in ensuring that quality football is played in the Georgetown based tournament.

Freeburg Secondary and Charlestown Secondary will do battle in the tournament’s opening game on Saturday from 11:00hrs followed by three other games.

The tournament is expected to last until March with a total of 48 games being played through the period as Lodge Secondary will aim to defend their title.
