Miami International University of Art & Design to hold education fair in Guyana

Yumarie Ortiz Lopez, International Admissions Representative at Miami International University of Art & Design will be hosting an Education Fair at School of the Nations in Georgetown on Friday, November 18th.

According to a press statement, “this will be a great opportunity for students to learn more about study abroad opportunities and programs in the U.S.”.

miami-universityThe statement said Ms Lopez will be presenting the following information: MIU’s Art Grant Program; Short Summer Courses for High School Students; Studying in the US, Visa Process; Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Programs in the Areas of Design, Media Arts and Fashion; and Admissions Process.

In the statement, Yumarie shared the following:  “Miami International University of Art & Design is committed to providing students with an exciting and challenging journey of learning, exploration, and potential for accomplishment.  We are institutionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, and masters’ degrees.

The sessions will be offered for students & the general public at the following times at School of the Nations:

  • 10 am to noon
  • 2 pm to 4 pm
  • And 6pm to 8pm
