Ranks of the Guyana Police Force yesterday apprehended a man in Guyana’s interior region who was in possession of a bag with three shotguns and one hundred and seventy-eight cartridges.
Police in a statement said its ranks, acting on information around 03:00 hrs yesterday, went to Karasabai which is located sixty miles from Lethem where they “apprehended a male who was in possession of a bag with three shotguns and one hundred and seventy-eight cartridges”.
He is in custody assisting with the investigation.
