The world’s largest international police organisation, INTERPOL, has reportedly joined the Guyana Police Force and law enforcement authorities in the United States in the hunt for wanted murder suspect, Marcus Brian Bisram.

Bisram is suspected to be the alleged ‘mastermind’ in the brutal murder of 27-year-old Corentyne carpenter Fayez Narinedatt.

Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum has indicated that a process has started for a ‘Red Notice’ to be published for Bisram. He added that based on preliminary investigations, the suspect has left the country.

The Guyanese Crime Chief has assured that the Police would do everything in its powers to have the wanted man captured and extradited to Guyana to assist in the ongoing investigations.

The GPF, late Wednesday afternoon, issued a Wanted bulletin for Bisram “for questioning in relation to the murder of Fayez Narinedat which occurred on November 01, 2016, at Number 70 Village, Corentyne, Berbice”.

Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Marcus Brian Bisram is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 333-2191, 333-2151-3, 225-2227, 225-0575, 911 or the nearest police station. According to the Guyana Police Force, Bisram’s date of birth is listed as 1989-08-20 and his last known address is given as Lot 115 Section ‘A’ Number 70 Village Corentyne, Berbice; and the United States of America. The wanted bulletin for Bisram was issued one day after six persons were charged in connection with the carpenter’s murder. A seventh person was on Thursday arraigned with the murder.

It was reported that Narinedatt was beaten unconscious by the suspects, placed in the trunk of a car and taken to the public road where he was run over by a car to stage the crime as a road accident and not a homicide. The wanted man reportedly made sexual advances to the now dead man, but was rejected. Out of embarrassment, Bisram allegedly instructed two villagers to “get rid” of the father of two. The carpenter’s body was discovered about 03:45hrs at a scene which appeared to be that of a hit-and-run accident. From the inception, relatives of the dead man thought something was amiss. Several people were taken into custody and interrogated; two of them then confessed to the murder and implicated several others, including the businessman.

    Justice must be done .
Bisham must not be allowed to get away with murder not because he has money
