Hundreds of Seventh-day Adventist youths marched the streets of Georgetown yesterday to raise awareness about domestic violence and child abuse, among other issues plaguing our communities and eating away at the fabric of the Guyanese society. The youths were gathered from Adventist churches across Guyana and the march is one of the activities in observance of the church’s annual Youth Congress held over the weekend.

The march began at the National Park and culminated at the Jubilee Park on Durban Park in Georgetown where the ceremonial salute was taken by leaders of the Church.

Below are scenes from this event captured by INews photographer, Carl Croker.
