Fishes found dead in Essequibo canals

0

Hundreds of dead fishes are floating in the conservancy canals in Region Two (Pomeroon Supenaam).

It is currently unknown how the fishes died but it is suspected that the marine animals died due to the prolonged dry season, which resulted in decreasing water levels in the canals.

Others believe the waterway was polluted or poisoned.

Details to come.
