[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – eight – year – old Quincy Letlow of West Ruimveldt was remanded to prison by Magistrate Judy Latchman on a robbery charge.
Letlow, a father of seven, pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on October 28 at the corners of Water and Croal Street; being in the company of another, he robbed Paul De Nobrega of one gold chain valued $230,000.
Police Prosecutor Joel Ricknauth opposed bail on the nature, gravity and prevalence of the offence. He informed the Court that it was reported that Letlow threatened to cripple the victim.
Bail was refused and the matter stands adjourned to November 7.
