Wellington George of West Bury Village, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), is being accused of receiving a laptop on August 24, 2016 from Alister Bess, knowing same to be stolen.

The defendant initially pleaded guilty with explanation, telling the court that Bess came to his home requesting to borrow money to take his wife to the doctor.

George said that he felt “sorry” for the man and loaned him $15,000 as such, Bess in return, handed over a laptop to George.
