CANU seeking woman who attempted to export ‘cocaine soaked hammocks’

Law enforcement officials are presently hunting a 26-year-old woman who allegedly made an attempt to smuggle cocaine soaked in hammocks, overseas on Thursday last.

Wanted: Tiffany Collison

The woman has been identified as Tiffany Collison of Samaan Street, Guyhoc Park, Georgetown.

Based on information received, four cocaine saturated hammocks were posted under Collison’s name to a New York based address when it was intercepted by ranks attached to the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) at the Eugene Correia International Airport, Ogle, East Coast Demerara.

Thus far, this online publication was informed that efforts to make contact with the woman have proved futile.

Investigations are on-going and anyone with information regarding Collison’s whereabouts are asked to contact CANU officials on 226-0431.
