Brickdam Secondary school robbed – donation money for upcoming graduation stolen

Police are still investigating the circumstances in which the Brickdam Secondary School, relocated on Freeman Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown was robbed and relieved of $40,000 in cash and two laptops early yesterday morning.

No arrests have been made yet, but according to reports, police are looking for three suspects who were seen leaving the compound by the school’s security guard on the morning on question.

Reports are that between the hours of 4am and 8am, the men broke into the school and into the Head Mistress’ office where they stole all the valuables they could find.

According to the Head Mistress of the school, the money lost had been donated to the school to be placed towards the school’s graduating class later this month.
