Baramita woman drops dead on her way to buy groceries

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 22-year-old Vanessa Davis of Baramita, North West District.

Reports are that the woman suddenly dropped dead at around 17:00hrs on Sunday as she was making her way to buy groceries.

According to information received from her 21-year-old reputed husband, he had left home for work at around 09:50hrs on the day in question.

When he returned at around 17:00hrs, he and the woman along with their two children left home to purchase to food items.

Whilst on the journey, the woman complained of experiencing severe headache and shortness of breath. She then collapsed and started to froth.

She was escorted to Baramita Health Centre and pronounced dead.

The body will be transported to the Port Kaituma Mortuary for storage and a postmortem.
