Esau Gibbons, 21 and Kevin Abrams, 17 pleaded guilty to the charge of break and enter and larceny.

In one of three break-ins that occurred in the Eccles Young Professional Housing Scheme on September 15, Gibbons and Abrams were apprehended after they broke into Nicholson’s house through the back window.

While they were ransacking the house, they were not aware that Nicholson’s daughter was at home. She quickly contacted the police, who responded promptly and captured the bandits.

The duo had already packed a bag with some of the woman’s home appliances, and were about to flee the scene when they were caught.

Over the past few weeks there have been several brazen robberies committed in the Eccles Young Professional Housing Scheme area.
