[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – five – year old Uwesa Benjamin of Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara was shot and injured to his right hand on Saturday night (April 18) during an incident at Norton Street, Bagotstown.
According to a police report, at about 20: 50 hrs a man armed with a firearm discharged shots indiscriminately in the area, injuring Benjamin in the process.
No arrest has been made as yet and investigations are in progress.
