The Auditor General’s report on the Public Accounts of Guyana for 2015 was today handed over by Auditor General, Deodat Sharma to Speaker of the National Assembly, Dr. Barton Scotland, GINA said.
The Auditor General said that the report represented the seventh consecutive report being presented by the statutory deadline, September 30. He praised the staff of the Audit Office for their commitment to the process thereby ensuring the timeliness of the report.
In brief remarks, Speaker of the National Assembly, Dr. Scotland congratulated the Auditor General for the timeliness of the report and encouraged the maintenance of submitting such reports in a timely manner, according to GINA.
