The children’s mother, Krmoa Harris,  was reportedly admitted to the GPHC in an unconscious state and is said to be in a serious condition.

Three others injured in the accident are Carlson Fattette, Latoya Wayne (a reporter with Little Rock Television Station in Berbice), and Samantha Bowling. The three are said to be nursing injuries but were listed as stable.

Reports are Fattette was driving car bearing registration PSS 5092 heading to Georgetown while the other car driven by Bowling with registration PRR 1766 was heading in the opposite direction.

However, Bowling reportedly lost control of the car she was driving while negotiating a turn and veered into the path of Fattette’s vehicle thus resulting in the head-on collision.

Due to impact the car driven by Fattette ended up in a nearby trench.

  1. Traffic accidents in Guyana. Over the week end I was in company of a gentleman who is visiting from Guyana, he was boasting of the Guyana motor vehicle drivers, they are safe, bragging “they are toe to toe with the driver in front”, tail gating, he thinks it’s safe driving, the reason for many of the accidents. They speed endangering the lives of other road users which so regularly end many fatal accidents. Ticket dangerous drivers.
