The field in question which the police said was destroyed
Ranks of the Guyana Police Force recently conducted a Drug-Eradication Operation at Yarowkabra on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
According to the police, during the eradication exercise, eight fields of cultivated cannabis and a camp were found and destroyed by fire.
Eight fields of cultivated cannabis were reportedly destroyed by officers
The plants estimated to be approximately 30,000, were between five-six feet in heights; four nurseries with several thousand seedlings were also destroyed.
The camp site was also destroyed 
According to the police, no arrests were made.
