[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 23- year – old man accused of attempted murder, was placed before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court to answer to the offence on Tuesday.
It is alleged that Abdool Samaroo of Enterprise, Leguan a Speed-Boat Operator by profession on October 1, 2015 at Leguan, Essequibo Island with intent to commit murder, he wounded Tajnee Mohabeer, his reputed wife.
Abdool Samaroo was not allowed to plead to the indictable charge.
He was remanded to prison, where his next court appearance is set for October 22 at the Leguan Magistrate’s Court.

Abdool S. is not a speedboat operator; he work only sometimes for one of the Leguan speedboat owners. He and his friend Tishanie M. are well-known in Leguan to consume drugs and alcohol. The Police know them good, but failed to prevent the crimes.
